We were supposed to go home today so didn’t plan much….a lazy start with us all watching Casablanca in bed, a trip to the park, a spot of lunch with J&L and then back to The Ruskin. Back in the day The Ruskin was renowned for being a heavy metal venue. Tonight was the first time they’ve had live music there since the refurbishment….albeit an acoustic night with the very talented Mallory Torrs. Uncle Ross joined us and we decided to make a night of it so booked into the hotel. A lovely evening…. Joe made a friend of the drummer and had an impromptu cajon lesson.
