How good it feels to have a few days off ….

Tonight I took Katy, Sal and Hannah to watch Ali and her team, Great Shelford Ladies Football Club, play in a cup final against Cambridge Ladies FC at Histon FC.

Apparently, GSLFC are in a lower league to their opponents but you wouldn’t have known from tonight’s match. You could tell from the pace of the game, some of the tackles and the colourful language on the pitch (much to the amusement of Sal) that both teams were very competitive and obviously passionate about the outcome of the game. CLFC won in the end by one goal….
